What PilotCB is, what it is not, and the boundaries around its use in aviation decision-making.
01 · Operational boundary
PilotCB is a briefing support layer. It helps assemble context while leaving every official, procedural, judgment, and regulatory responsibility in place.
Weather, airport, operational, and situational context.
PilotCB provides weather, airport context, operational context, preflight review support, and situational awareness assistance for flight planning.
The product organizes information from multiple aviation sources into a single review workflow. It is intended to help pilots and crews assemble context more quickly.
PilotCB does NOT replace required official aviation sources, dispatch procedures, airline or company procedures, pilot judgment, or regulatory requirements.
PilotCB does not issue GO / NO-GO decisions. Users remain responsible for verifying all required operational information with appropriate official sources before every flight.
PilotCB is not a navigation product, not a dispatch or flight-release system, and not safety-critical equipment. Live traffic is situational context only and is not a collision-avoidance system.
If any information in PilotCB conflicts with an official source, the official source controls.

Information in PilotCB may sometimes be delayed, unavailable, stale, partial, or incomplete. Not every source is real-time. Availability depends on the upstream data source and network conditions at the time of the request.
PilotCB displays unavailable information as unavailable rather than presenting another weather product as ATIS or hiding the gap entirely. Gaps are intentional and should not be interpreted as confirmation of condition.
PilotCB uses FAA data and other authoritative aviation sources. References to FAA data describe the source of information only.
PilotCB is an independent product and is not endorsed or certified by the FAA.
PilotCB may combine official aviation data with selected supplemental information from third-party sources. Supplemental sources provide context only and do not replace authoritative aviation information.
The presence of supplemental data does not imply endorsement of any source, product, or service.
Users may choose their own local custom background images for the PilotCB homepage. PilotCB does not host, store, or distribute those images in the current V1 architecture.
Users are responsible for the images they choose to use locally and for any rights or clearances required to display them.
Users should not attempt to interfere with PilotCB service operation, abuse automated endpoints, or circumvent technical protections built into the product.
PilotCB is provided as briefing support. Reliance on any information in PilotCB is at the user's own risk. PilotCB does not guarantee continuous availability, completeness, or accuracy of any data source.
These terms describe the current public V1 behavior and may be updated as product or legal requirements change.
